How it is printed

Printed by me, not by a lab

Every print is made by me on a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1100, a professional 17-inch photo printer built for exhibition work, so I see every print myself before it reaches you.

Inks
Twelve LUCIA PRO II pigment inks: eleven colours and a chroma optimiser for an even surface. Pigment, not dye, is what galleries print with, because it resists fading.
Detail
2400 × 1200 dots per inch.
Paper
Heavy fine-art and photo papers, up to 400 gsm.
Size
Sheets up to 43 cm wide, which is why the largest print is 60 × 40 cm.

About

My photography is a search for a dialogue between wildlife and the rigid geometry of the megacity. I capture the moments most people miss in the rush of everyday life.

I explore contrasts. On one hand, candid, almost portrait-like shots of birds frozen amid textured asphalt and glass. On the other, a monumental industrial landscape where construction cranes pierce the stormy sky like modern steel sculptures. It is a visual story of how fragile life coexists with large-scale human creation. Every detail, from the gaze of an urban bird to the graphic lines of scaffolding, is caught in its natural, unscripted beauty.

Philosophy

Why this frame?

Out of hundreds of places and millions of passing moments, why this exact split second? There is an old saying: an outstanding photograph is about depth of feeling, not depth of field. Cameras, settings and megapixels are only tools.

  1. Your own perspective

Two people in the same room with identical cameras will capture two completely different stories.

  2. The ability to notice

Seeing beauty in a crack in the pavement, the geometry of shadows, or someone's casual sigh.

  3. Emotional resonance

A frame connects when it holds a drop of your own soul, mood or memories.

A camera doesn't just record reality. It interprets it.
